our future roommate

for those of you who haven't heard from us in a while, we are living in pleasant view aka p-view or the "view that is pleasant." considering we have a basement apartment the view actually is pretty pleasant because we have several good sized windows and our kitchen window looks over our previous place of residence known as "o-town." we are really liking our new pad even though its pretty quirky, but thats part of the reason why we like it so much. we are feeling settled and are anxiously awaiting our new roommate.

dan and i have an interesting situation on our hands. some may say our future resident is a little impolite. all of her stuff has been moved in but she hasn't yet shown up. we also have to pay her deposit which will be approximately 5000 dollars plus. (talk about steep....sheesh!) we have also been informed that despite the fact that we have purchased a new vehicle, the seats in the car aren't quite to her liking so today we are going to buy her a special chair that will accommodate her more appropriately. some may ask why we are allowing such a tenant to move in with us. her reasoning is pretty good and dan and suzanne are more than willing to accomodate this new little addition to their apartment. you see, nova, (the future resident) is moving out of her old abode due to the 'lack of space at her old address.' her land lord has also admitted that she is 'out-growing' the place and needs to move out soon. suzanne is especially sympathetic to this news. suzanne went just yesterday to discuss the move-in with her friend darryl (also known as doctor woods) he said that she should be arriving before the 16th. so hopefully soon we will add one more little body in this quirky little place of ours and to our quirky little family.

ok, so all jokes aside, things are going well. i went to the doctor yesterday and i am dilated to a 1 and am 90% effaced. at first i freaked out because i thought he said i was dilated to a 1 and he could see 90% of nova's face and i almost had a cardiac arrest.........but i heard incorrectly, so i feel encouraged that i will not be eternally pregnant! hooray!

Can't wait for your little roommate to get here. I'm thinking you are going to love her when she moves in even if she is a bit particular about some of her accomodations.
